DURATION:  Initial 3 months

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is an exciting new opportunity for a Talend Developer for an initial 3 month assignment for our important Central Government client.  

Our client requires a Talend Developer for maintaining the existing and developing the new Talend data transformation jobs/joblets. Furthermore, the Talend Developer will provide the administrative support for the Talend technical environment.

ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

- Extensive knowledge of the Talend Data Quality product set
- Extensive knowledge of the Talend Data Integration product set
- Extensive knowledge of the Talend Administration Console in particular managing and monitoring multiple projects across multiple environments (Development, Test, Staging and Production)
- Extensive knowledge of creating and deploying Talend data transformation Jobs together with good problem/diagnostic capability (eg, performance tuning)
- Knowledge and experience of the Master Data Management (MDM) product set would be advantageous but not essential as there is no immediate intention to implement this yet
- Experience of defining and developing Talend support and development organisation would also be helpful
- ETL experience in implementing and supporting a relational/data warehousing environments using Oracle 11g/10g
- Strong ETL Experience in Design Configuration, Data Mapping, Extraction, Transformation and Loading in an extremely complex environment processing large volumes of data
