Tableau Solution Architect

TABLEAU SOLUTION ARCHITECT

My client, a global technology organisation is urgently looking to employ the services of an experienced Solution Architect with 3/4 experience in Tableau, on a contract basis. Ideally they are looking for an Architect with 5+ years' experience and expertise in Tableau development, Tableau Server Administration and the ability to drive best practices in a Tableau environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead all technical aspects of designing, developing, modelling, integrating, testing
- Recommending Dashboards per Tableau visualization features.
- Delivering reports to Business team on timely manner.
- Tableau Shared Connection creation experience.
- Requirements gathering, agile development and UAT.
- Platform Tuning.
- Tableau user management, security and auditing experience.

DEVELOPING BEST PRACTICE SOLUTIONS INCLUDING:

- Development approach.
- Development standards.
- Versioning and deployment strategy.
- Dashboard Palette and Branding.
- Mentoring of Tableau team while on site.
- Delivery program.

REQUIREMENTS

- 3/5 years' experience working in a Tableau Environment.
- 5+ years Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing.
- Detailed experience in Tableau Server administration.
- Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on Tableau.
- Familiar with Tableau on VMware.
- Leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with business.

DESIRED SKILLS

- Teradata SQL (Desirable).
- Experience querying large datasets from Teradata (Desirable).
- Banking/finance experience (Desirable).
