Tableau Reporting Specialist

Projektbeschreibung
For our Client from the banking industry we are looking for a TABLEAU REPORTING SPECIALIST
Duration: 6 months (possible extenstion)
Location: Laussane
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance Tableau Expert focusing on Compliance Management Information and Regulatory Affairs reporting
- Designer of creative approaches to view and interact with data for analysis
- Defining functional requirements as input to application design while identifying the type of visualization that best suits the needs and use your tech-savvy know-how to ensure functional requirements are met
- Defining reports, dashboard models and templates, build and deploy reports/dashboards as well publishing to server and configure schedules will also be your area of responsibilities
- As an expert in your field you are in charge of adapting the reporting with the latest changes on a continuous basis
- Collaborate with various international business partners within the global compliance function
- Open to discuss flexible/agile working
TEAM
You will be integrated in a team of about 10 people working in different area of Compliance mainly in the field of data analysis, data sourcing, data engineering and visualization. The location is Lausanne with possibility of daily trips to Zürich (about 5% of the time). You will be part of an open-minded team with a strong team spirit that acts in a high-performing and dynamic working environment.
ESSENTIALS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowing Tableau Desktop and Server
- Knowledge of common data formats such as JSON, CSV and spreadsheets
- Understanding of Pill Types, aggregation, granularity, blending and joining
- Knowledge of Tableau Dashboards, Dashboard Objects, Formatting and Extensions
- Basic notions of Mapping and Geocoding, LOD expression and Calculation with a variety of types
- Capability of building dashboards combined from data sources and formats
- Basic Knowledge about available connectivity drivers to different data sources
- Knowledge of standard methodologies for dashboard creation and visualizations
- Basic Knowledge of Database Concepts
- Self-starter and independent thinker you are willing to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Fluency in English
- An education in IT or Economics or Banking or Engineering
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A tableau Certification is preferred in addition to experience in working with databases
- If you have expertise in Tableau community contribution and server administration experience that would be an advantage
- Knowledge of statistics and analytics methods, statistic programming tools (like SAS, R) would be seen as a real plus
