Tableau Expert Technical Expert

I am currently recruiting for Tableau expert Technical Expert for a role based in Belgium to join a great project.

CONTEXT

The mission of this team is among other things to develop and maintain the BI assets (DWH, Datamarts, Reporting, tools). Within BI team, BI Data Tooling platform manages the support and maintenance of BI Infrastructure and tooling delivers functional support towards end-users on different BI technologies defines best practices and guidelines documents to be used by end-users

Client needs a Tableau expert to enforce the support team, support server configuration and support functional migration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate:

- will implement Tableau best practices and set the do's and don'ts of how to use Tableau in the correct manner
- advise on Qlickview migration to Tableau
- document and train users on how to effectively maximize Tableau
- support technical rollout of Tableau server software and define user access management and security
- define tool governance
- put in place easy to use self-service Tableau dashboards
- has to communicate with the technical team and the Management.
- has to understand problems and issues to propose appropriate solutions and mitigations.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

- At least 3 years of experience in Tableau administration
- At least 5 years of experience in developing with Tableau
- A professional experience of at least 10 years.
- Functional as well as technical experience with Tableau and security setup
- Dashboarding design and Data visualisation experience
- Good technical skills on Windows administration
- Good Windows server Infrastructure knowledge.
- Team player
- Customer oriented
- Communicative (with team members and with other colleagues, our clients & other partners).
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - get your message across with PPT, etc
- You must speak English and a second language like French or Dutch
- If you have a similar experience in migration project from Qlikview to Tableau

Business experience

- Dashboarding design and Data visualisation experience
- Experience with working in a complex organization.
- Experience in the banking sector.
