Systems Technician (MS Exchange)

Systems Technician or Systems Analyst with experience of MS Operating Systems including MS Exchange is needed for a contract opportunity in Valencia, Spain. You will join an international ICT organisation and a growing team of professional that focus on the systems and network environment. This is an English speaking role but any Spanish language skills are a bonus.

Systems Technician duties:

. You will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Servers, operating systems and directory services of the client and its partners
. You will assist with the management and maintaining of standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools
. Support data centres activity relating to the incident management process
. Provide final testing and deployment of server hardware, operating systems and directory service solutions
. Create related technical documentation as a part of release management process
. Provide support assistance and coverage for any urgent requests during off working hours as part of standby on duty
. Perform other duties as required

Systems Skills required:

. 3 years of experience in managing, administering and maintaining MS Operating Systems, Active Directory and MS Exchange
. Good technical knowledge of MS Windows 2008/2012 and Linux operating system
. Good technical knowledge of MS Operating systems, MS Active Directory Services and MS Exchange 2013 email platform
. General understanding of Identity Management such as MS Forefront Identity Management
. Experience with various monitoring tools such as HP and Microsoft Management suite
. Some knowledge of database and application systems including familiarity in Powershell and Shell Scripting
. Experience in drafting technical documents
. Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001), ITIL framework and other industry standard related best practices
. Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems
. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skills
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required
. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable
