Systems Team Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

As a Systems Team Engineer, you will be a key contributor in the concept, development, and design of complex components, subsystems, or processes in New Product Introduction. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of assigned projects in your Team area of concentration. You will have to work with adjacent systems designers to insure compatibility of designs and help determine and meet specific timelines for completion of designs.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical systems designs, on any of several machine platforms.
- Assist in the Development of system specifications
- Work in a Concurrent Product and Process Development environment within NPI design execution
- Design of new and leveraged systems concepts/designs

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Five to seven years of engineering experience required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Engine Installation/Cooling/Powertrain
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in 3D Modeling tools (ie Pro-E) New Product Introduction(NPI) machine design experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
