Systems Support Associate

We are seeking a SYSTEMS SUPPORT ASSOCIATE to work for one of the worlds top corporations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals through remote support in a large scale enterprise environment.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Works under general supervision

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires at least 2 - 4 years of IT experience including laptops, desktops, printers and networks
- CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications desirable
- Above average skills in troubleshooting a wide variety of software
- Windows XP and Windows 7 experience
- MAC desirable
- Command Line experience and Unix skills a plus
- Messaging and Exchange Server skills desirable
- Virtual Infrastructure (VDI) experience a plus
- Hardware break-fix experience
- Server experience
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization required
- Ability to multitask and follow through on all work required
- Perl and command line Scripting desirable
- Experience in root cause analysis a plus
- Experience in Legacy Remedy or Web Based Remedy a plus
- Must be professional in appearance and communications to work face to face with clients
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude required
- Associate's degree or its equivalent
- Flexibility to work on any shifts (24/7) including weekends
- Light Unix and Linux
- working 2nd and 3rd shift
