Systems Programmer Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Acts as primary technology interface with legal operations team members, lawyers and paralegals for IP Manager.
- Acts as System Administrator and Business Admin support for IP Manager - part of a team that QAs data and system functionality, updates, existing SQL code, configures fields, queries, security levels, reports, installs software for development, testing and production environment, maps business processes and implements workflow and facilitates integration with other legal tools and data.
- Provides software and technical support for IP Manager issues.
- Identifies and tracks performance issues.
- Works with inside/vendor/outside resources to develop solutions and implement them.
- Performs Back End updates to IP Manager data, rules using SQL.
- Manages user and security profiles.
- Generates ad hoc custom formatted reports using advanced SQL queries to support business need.
- Keeps system current with vendor provided software including upgrades, enhancements, version releases, etc.

SKILLS

3-5 years experience, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two or more years experience in systems analysis and application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires good analytical ability and communication skills. Strong communication skills, interested in learning/owning every aspect of a system (functionality, troubleshooting, configurations, report writing, etc)., can work with various levels in the organization (communication and can manage their own projects effectively), is a quick study, can work effectively in a team environment, with working knowledge of SQL (includes hands-on SQL experience with creating/modifying triggers, stored procedures, tables, views, and functions). Familiar with SDLC methodologies.
