Systems/Program Analyst

LOCAL CANDIDATES STRONGLY PREFERRED.

Skills include Oracle (and SQL Loader), SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, batch programming.

Oracle

- Experience writing/troubleshooting procedures, views, packages, cursors.
- Understanding grants, permissions, security helpful.
- Third party tools like SQL Navigator.
- Knowledge of SQL Loader.
- Knowledge of file util functions helpful but not necessary. A nice to have.
- Familiarity with parameter driven procedures.
- Familiarity with Oracle data types and conversion to SQL Server data types

SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS

- Experience writing/troubleshooting stored procedures.
- Experience with packages, data transformation, package configuration, variables, expressions, SSIS security.
- Familiarity with BIDS, report builder, Visual Studio, SQL Server management studio.
- Experience with reporting services including creating and deploying reports.
- Experience with parameter driven reports and procedures.
- Familiarity with SQL Server data types and converting between different SQL Server data types.

Batch programming

- Dos commands
- File creation/manipulation

Misc

- Someone who can advise on SQL best practices or approach, suggest and implement the recommendation.
- Ability to design processes that are scalable with minimal to no hard-coding.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Understand change control process and SOX documentation needs. Before/after testing, user acceptance.
- Version control (source safe).
