Systems Lab Technician - Part Time

SYSTEMS LAB TECHNICIAN FORT COLLINS, CO PART TIME CONTRACT POSITION

This is a part time position of about 20 hours a week after orientation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Configuring development systems with client silicon and software updates
- Running test to check out various system configurations for silicon and software updates
- Assisting in setting up end user configurations to allow for silicon or software debug
- Running test/debug tools
- Tracking and maintaining high value inventory for the lab
- Performing quarterly audits, resolving discrepancies, and publishing exec summary report

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Hardware installation and upgrades
- Network configuration
- Experience with system level operation using Microsoft Windows or Linux baser operating systems
- Experience in hardware and/or software debug
- C-script knowledge skills
- Good listening skills
- Critical thinking skills and proven system setup and maintenance documentation
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in unstructured environment with many variables
- Patience, tenacity, and a good sense of humor

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Board/BIOS software debug skills
- Read and comprehend technical reference collateral aka design specification
- Read schematics
- Work with debug tools (training available)
- C-script knowledge skills
- Years of experience required: 2-3 years
- Electrical and Computer Engineering Associate degree
