Job Description:

- Monitor critical application and infrastructure nodes up/down status.
- Drive resolution of all production impairments as they occur on a normal basis. Own the issue from start to finish and be accountable to assist teams when necessary to get resolution.
- Facilitate and coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Communicate impairment impact and status to the business.
- Provide initial issue/impairment verification and troubleshooting.
- Escalate to support teams for critical application and infrastructure impairments.
- Document all involvement, impact, milestones and status changes regarding impairments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Configures, tests, debugs systems under direct supervision using well-defined procedures.
- Implements solutions to routine problems as directed by more senior level personnel.
- Installs standard, off-the-shelf products and associated updates on selected products.
- Interacts with the customer as directed by answering technical questions.
- Prepares documentation on existing and proposed solutions to meet customer needs.
- Follows direction from more senior level personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires 1-2 years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and skills to provide software support on standard systems, investigating, analysing, and resolving problems on selected products
- Windows 2003/2008 experience required
