PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reviews all applicable information in the server environment relative to problem and resolution.
- Investigates operational problems and accelerates solutions.
- Performs systems administration tasks that are both planned and emergency.
- Analyzes, recognizes and troubleshoots problems with server hardware and software.
- Installs new software releases, systems upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
- Performs maintenance on user accounts. Adds, removes and modifies user accounts as necessary.
- Facilitates the change management resolution process both internally and with customers.
- Evaluates new server technology tools to remain current with industry trends and practices and makes recommendations for their application within the enterprise system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.

- Windows Server 2003/2008
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP Networking
- Services: User/Group Management, Printer Services, Windows Domain Management
- ESX/VMware/VSphere
- Scripting languages a plus
- HP Hardware a plus
