Systems Integration Engineer Military Vehicles
A well established and highly successful supplier of armoured vehicles to the MOD and export defence markets is undertaking a major project to update the vetronics. To assist in the delivery of the project a Systems Integration Engineer is required.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the Electrical and Software sub-systems into the vehicle programme.
Tasks
+ Provide status reports on the progress of individual engineering activities.
+ Prepare material for use in internal and external design reviews.
+ Engage in system specific design reviews.
+ Support critical design appraisals throughout the design and development life-cycle.
+ Carry out viability assessments of competing technologies and systems.
+ Support vehicle trials and exhibitions as and when required both in the UK and abroad

Experience Required
+ Contemporary knowledge of existing and emerging technologies in the areas of vetronic systems.
+ You should have a proven history in working on design and development vehicle system teams throughout the engineering lifecycle.
A proven track knowledge of the following areas are required:
+ Electrical aspects such as Systems Harness design, equipment and component selection, analysis of electrical and electronic architecture requirements, integration and test.
+ Software aspects such as analysing software system and sub-system requirements, developing software plans, managing risk and opportunities, validation, product level testing
+ Proven track record in the design and development of vehicle systems from concept through to series production
+ Experience of engineering vehicle systems designs against performance and reliability targets
+ A strong background in military tracked and wheeled vehicle systems engineering.
Qualifications Required
+ BSc , BEng , MSc Degree in an engineering subject
+ Membership at Chartered CEng level of IET or IMechE
