Our Federal Government client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Systems Environment Manager. The individual required for this role will likely have a background in Logistic Information Systems (LOGIS), ideally in a management environment and exposure to processing system changes/upgrades through the Clients' systems management organisations. The individual will be required to liaise frequently with the Client and industry personnel and have strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated performance in meeting deadlines and attention to detail.

Essential requirements for this role include proven strong skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Systems management, in particular experience in the processing of systems changes and testing,
- Excellent written and oral communications skills enabling effective engagement at all levels.
- Facilitating workshops with users/stakeholder groups within various areas at all levels.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Systems architecture and security governance,
- Logistics IT systems (specifically MILIS and DTP or SLIMS)
