SYSTEMS ENGINEER - SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, SYSML, DOORS AND UML

A Systems Engineer with Systems integration, SysML, DOORS and UML experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Telford.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

OVERVIEW OF THE SYSTEMS ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

The role performed shall include the execution of Systems Engineering techniques for projects in automation and intelligent systems, this includes, but is not limited to: Requirements Management, Concept Development, User Demonstrations, Work with stakeholders and users to manage and develop user tests and validation of concepts and Systems Engineering Development.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE SYSTEMS ENGINEER.

- A Systems or broad engineering training where integration techniques across a variety of multi-disciplinary domains (software, electronic, electrical and mechanical) were required.
- Previous experience in intelligent or autonomous systems.
- Experience working in product life cycles, from concept to disposal.
- Experience in projects using systems engineering techniques.
- Experience with software and electronics.
- Experience in DOORS and SysML/UML.
- Experience in Modelling and Simulation.
- Experience in Synthetic Environments.

The role is based in Telford, Shropshire - commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Oswestry.
