Systems Engineering Manager

The Systems Engineering Manager will:

1. Implement and manage system engineering practices, processes and activities across all life cycle phases of the project.
2. Ensure that the Prime System Integrator complies with system engineering practice requirements for the Program.
3. Manage and/or perform design assurance, testing or acceptance in accordance with the relevant Program Plans.
4. Manage system configuration documentation.
5. Create, develop and maintain specifications and other technical documentation. This will include input of technical specification and other information into contract variations and formal advices.
6. Manage the collection and/or preparation of objective

Skills required:

1. Demonstrated experience managing IT system engineering practices and processes;
2. Demonstrated understanding of Information Technology environments;
3. Demonstrated knowledge of System Engineering practice, System Engineering Reviews, the procurement life cycle, IT system life cycle, operational requirements management, configuration management, IT systems testing, IT integration testing, Acceptance testing;
4. Demonstrated experience in either Major ICT projects or Engineering projects, or Defence Strategic Projects.
