Systems Engineer- Windows/Cisco/Vmware/SAN - Contract - Dublin

Systems Engineer/3rd Line Engineer - (Windows, Cisco, VMware, SAN ) - CONTRACT - Dublin, Ireland

You will provide technical support for the day-to-day operations of the company's infrastructure, implementing systems through the use of automation and best practices for configuration of infrastructure management tools, installing patches and hot fixes, maintaining security compliance, and managing the infrastructure operations systems.

This role is also responsible for providing SME support for the planning and implementation of all required preventative and reactive maintenance activities, including upgrades, patches, governance initiatives, and others. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the service delivery resources on-site, and act as an escalation point

You will possess experience in the following technologies;

- Experience with Windows Server 2008
- VMWare ESX
- Experience with SAN (Netapp, Dell, Storage, Brocade)
- Experience with Cisco is desirable
- Knowledge of traffic flows, Firewalls and routing
- MCSE, MCITP or NCIE preferable.

This is a 4 month contract with likely extension.
