Systems Engineer-Single Board/Sub-System Job

SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HUNTSVILLE, AL.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- System or sub system engineering
- Circuit design work
- Single board computer system design engineering at the system level

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The candidate will work with a team to review requirements, design, develop, and validate Embedded single board computers (SBC), Ethernet Switches, sensor processing cards and ruggedized systems.
- Duties may include research, evaluation, simulation, analysis, and development.
- The position really needs someone who can conceptualize and think at a systems level perspective as well as at a board level.

QUALIFICATION:

- Must have an Engineering Degree (Electrical or Computer)
- Support interfacing disciplines such as mechanical, software, test, customer support, manufacturing, product management and project management
- Strong coordination, organization, team work and communication abilities
- Review customer feedback and test performance to make required updates to the current prototype design.
- Experience with low-level software development interaction (C/C++ preferred)
- Review requirements and determine feasibility.
- Update/review schematics and layout as needed.
- Release final product into production, and support project manager with closing out internal tollgates
- Mentor Graphics Schematic Capture
- Possess strong troubleshooting/debug skills to be able to mitigate issues that come up during validation testing, and drive quick resolution
- Experience with standard lab debug tools (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, multimeter)
