Our Public Sector Transport client based in Manchester is currently recruiting for a Rail Systems Engineer position. The client are ideally looking for a qualified Engineer with experience in the Transport industry. There are both Maintenance and operational Engineer positions available.

THE ROLE

- Reviewing customer technical specifications and legislation.
- Support the development and application of System Engineering processes.
- Act as technical interface to the customer.
- Identify project technical risks and ensure risk mitigation is delivered.
- Planning and estimating timescales and costs.

KEY SKILLS

- Technical domain experience essential, Systems Engineering, System Integration and System Architecture.
- Rail or transportation sector experience
- Experience and hands on delivery of the design, analysis, development, testing and delivery of engineering solutions that solve complex requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in vehicle level concept development.
- Experience of developing and applying a range of system engineering process and tools.
