Projektbeschreibung
MISSION:
This role in Mechelen is responsible for the design, provisioning, configuration, documentation, operations and maintenance activities on technical systems adopted by our client. The primary focus is on technical platforms belonging to the "Connectivity and Voice" team; however it is also required to support project activities in other technical disciplines and coordinate operations across all client's offices worldwide. This role undertakes support activities in order to meet the standards as set by the Service Level Agreement and carries out project activities to achieve the project deliverables.
As SYSTEMS ENGINEER - NETWORK AND SECURITY, you will have following responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve IT Services globally, by means of Cisco, AVAYA, CheckPoint, and F5 technologies.
- Managing infrastructure changes, from cabling to configuring Firewalls and Routers, to vendor liaison with ISP, MPLS and Security partners. Supporting network and Telephony infrastructure and ensuring agreed service levels are maintained.
- Maintain and improve the IT knowledgebase Management System
- Understand the need for, and be able to execute ITIL processes (eg SR, Incident, Problem and Change Mgmt)
- Recommends and implements improvements to the current and new infrastructure;
- Guide, provide training to other IT team member as Service Desk Engineers and System Operators.
