Currently we are seeking a a Sr. Systems Network Engineer/Administrator to join our team of professionals and will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, coordination, control, security, and maintenance and troubleshooting of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. This person will focus on the administration of Servers, networks, computer hardware/software, applications, data storage, data archiving, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and security solutions. The Systems Administrator will help assess and identify appropriate solutions integrated into client's IT Platform and make recommendations for implementation.

The Sr. Systems Network Engineer/Administrator will have solid 2nd and 3rd level support with strong networking and system experience. This is a global company with 1500 end users, must be able to self manage and willing to work overtime Great opportunity to work r a great company

Sr. Systems Network Engineer/Administrator PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Design, Implementation & Support:
Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include Servers, SANS, network equipment and managed infrastructure technology and software applications.
Create and maintain good technical documentation.
Perform on-site and remote technical support as needed
Provides emergency on-call support if required
Maintains excellent communication with the Network Manager on all tasks and projects.
Enhance security posture of the environment
Performs other duties as assigned
Business Unit Support:
Provide technical support to geographically disperse units in a mixed technology environment including vendor support
Provide technical input across various projects interfacing with various groups within the organization
Participate in the implementation of hardware and software solutions that meet the technology and business needs of the various business units
Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include Servers, SANS, network equipment and managed infrastructure technology and software applications.
