Experienced maintenance engineer with skills in control systems support and some design. Supporting the Control Systems Manager in shop machinery activities the Systems Engineer. Required to monitor and improve automated control systems for this major global manufacturer.
With good communication skills the systems engineer must be:
* A qualified electrician
* Competent in PLC's (Siemens S7 preferred) programming
* SCADA
* Experienced with automation and motion control.
Able to work with support, maintenance, design, installation, and testing of industrial control systems
* Able to communicate with customers and internal departments
* Competent with some software (eg C#.NET, C++, VB, SQL, Oracle)
Any further skills with ProfiNET, ProfiBUS, WinCC Flexible highly desirable. Using Siemens S7 would be ideal but other PLC's acceptable.
