Systems Engineer Job

SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MODESTO,CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Windows Server
- VMWare
- Active Directory

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- System Engineer will be part of a team leading the technical efforts for a data center consolidation project
- Assess the technical risk and plan windows server migration from one location to another
- Provide escalation support for incident management on a variety of infrastructure, business and clinical applications
- Migration of systems will mostly occur during scheduled down times, after hours and weekends

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Large scale enterprise environment experience with x86 infrastructure including HP & Cisco blade server platforms
- Experience with large scale integration projects utlizing and not limited to the following OS platforms: UNIX, IBM-AIX, HPUX, Linux, Windows Server
- Strong VMWare and in VMWare server virtualization
- Implementing and administrating TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH, SMTP, IIS, DFS, print services, and other infrastructure components as required for large-scale systems implementations and projects
- Knowledge in MS Active Directory, Windows Clustering, Citrix, and Virtualization Technologies
- System Engineer needs to be able to work any shift (day, swing, grave) including weekends
- Flexible with travelling from time to time
