Systems Engineer Job

SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ST. LOUIS, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Managing ticket queues
- Initial triage and first level break/fix
- Post-maintenance activity validations

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Entry Level Systems Engineering responsibility in support of provisioning systems & applications in a support desk model.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation and resolution of provisioning systems and application service faults.
- Strong technical skill set and background, solid interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to document processes and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Basic ability to create detailed documentation to functionally understand new and existing applications.
- Basic ability to follow and implement established change and control policies and procedures.
- Basic ability to troubleshoot application problems.
- Basic knowledge of OSS applications and software.
- System administration experience (Linux/UNIX) 1+
- Database support experience 1+
- Enterprise Application experience 1+
- Scripting/programming skills, including JavaScript, VBS, TCL preferred
- Weblogic
