Systems Engineer Job

SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FRAMINGHAM, MA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position provides the application of good technical and analytical skills in the accomplishment of assigned project(s).
- Gather and analyze information for developing and modifying information systems
- Facilitate the process of defining business and systems requirements with clients
- Translate requirements into logical, economical, and practical system designs
- Code, test, and document programs as specified by detail design specifications
- Develop test plans, test data, and perform analysis of test results
- Contribute as SharePoint Platform (Infrastructure) expert within IS Business Projects
- Work together within a global team of SharePoint platform experts (France, Germany)
- Work together with the infrastructure operations team
- Assist with technical problem resolution and offer technical support.
- Possibility to travel to Europe (France, Germany) and or Asia (India, Singapore)
- Contact Person will not be located on site but in Europe (France, Germany)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Conduct client training as required.
- The candidate must have good communication skills and works well with a team.
- Experience: three to six (3-6) years.
- Strong knowledge and interest with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 three (3+) years
- Strong experience working in a SharePoint Server environment including Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft IIS, networking, virtualization, data center business, change management
- Good understanding of the SharePoint object model
- Experienced working with different SharePoint application architectures like Team/project space collaboration, Internet/Intranet publishing, Social Networking, workflow solutions
- Experience with SharePoint programming languages and tools including PowerShell 2.x,Visual Studio, .Net, SharePoint Designer
- Experience in Project management
- Language Skills needed:
- English (native or near native/fluent)
- Optional: German (basic communication skills) French (basic communication skills)
- Formal qualifications relating to Microsoft SharePoint Server are welcome
- Knowledge of the BMC tool suite would be beneficial, especially in the ITSM tools PROMISE (change management), Monitoring (Patrol)
- Knowledge of SharePoint third party administration tools (AvePoint).
