Systems Engineer - IAM/Active Directory/Group Policy Object (4238)

For a six month project client at our clients' site in Lucern, an international operating Industry company, we are looking for a

SYSTEMS ENGINEER - IAM/ACTIVE DIRECTORY/GROUP POLICY OBJECT (4238)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ YEARS OF EXTENSIVE AND APPLIED EXPERIENCE WITH ACTIVE DIRECTORY AND GROUP POLICY OBJECT MANAGEMENT including design, configuration, and deployment
- 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH PKI TECHNOLOGIES (ACTIVE DIRECTORY CERTIFICATE SERVICES), understanding of the use of certificates, PKI, key stores, HSM, signing, encryption, and cryptographic protocols such as TLS
- 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORTING VARIOUS AUTHENTICATION PROTOCOLS (KERBEROS, SAML, OAUTH, LDAP, ETC.)
- 2+ YEARS OF APPLIED EXPERIENCE WITH ACTIVE DIRECTORY FEDERATION SERVICES
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the troubleshooting and debugging Active Directory technologies as well as troubleshooting network connectivity issues as they pertain to authentication and authorization
- Skills in Microsoft AD Integration with Microsoft O365 Cloud/Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SCRIPTING TECHNOLOGIES (VBSCRIPT, POWERSHELL SCRIPTING) preferred
- Good understanding of the ITIL frameworks along with the incident, problem and change management processes and procedures
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH (ORAL/WRITTEN) GERMAN WOULD BE A PLUS
- Further post-graduate qualifications like CISSP or MCSA/MCSE certificates would be a plus

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Planning, gathering of requirements, specification, design and implementation of enterprise IT solutions
- Documentation and transition of operational processes required to support complex technical solutions
- Provide on-going engineering and Tier3 support of Directory Services implementations while acting as an escalation point for operations team and support issues
- Willingness to work flexible hours and to join a rotating stand-by organization for emergency duties
- Design and implement Directory Services that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements while being robust and scalable to support; including performance analysis and optimization, monitoring, problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation
- Ensure new Directory Service technologies are adequately tested and integrated with infrastructure and application services
- Recommend, plan and optimize existing Directory Services as needed
- Ensure the proper design, availability & reliability of all Active Directory Domain components including: schema management, policy administration, Kerberos admin and integration with application teams, Group Policies, permissions design and management, Trust Administration, service upgrades and credential/password management
- Ensure development and test environment exists for Directory Services and system infrastructure
- Apply business and technical analytical skills to analyze, identify, design, implement and develop comprehensive support processes to resolve complex business & operational issues
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for IAM services and their appropriate use
- Assist in the development of an IAM strategy that aligns with business objectives
