Systems Engineer/EPC/Aberdeen/Oil and Gas

Are you a Systems Engineer working for Vendor looking for the next step in your career? An opportunity to work in an EPC Contractor does not come around often. I am currently looking for a Systems Engineer/ Instrumentation Engineer to join an EPC Contractor on a staff basis inAberdeen. You will be part of a new team that is being set up to work on an FPSO that is currently undergoing a refit but is due to go operational next year. This is a very important position with a very competitive package and unlimited opportunity. The Position * You will manage all of the Instrument, Meters and Systems (DCS, PCS, ESD ,SIS and Fire and Gas Systems) * Monitor the performance of all plant instrument equipment * Provide technical advice to onshore and offshore personnel * Identify and progress opportunities to improve cost and production efficiencies. Challenge existing procedures and work practices to ensure the safest and most cost effective operations methods are used. * Complete regular offshore visits in support of duties and to communicate progress on ongoing activities. * Develop, prepare and issue annual budget forecasts for assigned budget scope. Monitor monthly costs against approved annual and ad-hoc budgets. You will be: * Educated to Degree level * Have previous experience in a similar role * Offshore experience * Experience with DCS, PCS,EDS,SIS and Fire and Gas Systems If you are interested send me your CV and I will call you to discuss.
