Systems Engineer - Defence Vehicle

Fantastic opportunity for System Engineers to join leading and influential Defence organisation based in Shropshire. This professional will be a skilled System engineer ideally with experience on Vehicle design or within Defence related projects. Earning £32ph/Ltd on this 3 month contract.

Systems Engineer - Working on unique Defence related project.

Roles and responsibilities will be varied and may include:

*Analysis of customer requirements, their derivation and allocation to system, sub-system and software configuration levels using formal methods and tools. This may include producing System & Sub-System Design Specifications for development by the engineering team and external suppliers.
*Tailor the systems engineering processes to suit project requirements, complexity and size. Prepare cost, project and risk estimates for proposed engineering solutions. This may include maturity planning and management
*Deriving a system models and Use Cases using formal Systems Engineering tools. This may include system functional modelling and analysis and actively engaging with the project team in the development of vehicle parametric attributes and physical architecture concepts.
*Ensure that logistics and post design requirements are considered throughout the development life cycle
*Effectively communicate design options & constraints to the project team throughout the development life cycle.
*Engage and support critical design appraisals throughout the design and development life cycle. This may include preparing material to support internal and external design reviews.
*Planning and managing the sub-systems and system integration, test and acceptance process.
*Interface management
*Working with the engineering team to assist in resolving design conflicts.
*Provide written and verbal briefings to all stakeholders.

This role will require SC security clearance, If eligible apply unfortunately due to the nature of this Defence site if not eligible for SC clearance application can not be successful.

Ideally this person will be experienced working and applying Systems Engineering techniques across a variety of projects where multi-disciplinary integration was required (software, electronic, electrical and mechanical)
