Systems Engineer - Chicagoland Area - Medical Device

Seeking a Systems Engineer to join a leading global Medical Device Company for a 12 month contract opportunity located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. The engineer will be working with disposable medical devices. This position is offering $60-$70/hour has the potential to convert into a permanent opportunity.

This company is seeking this talented Systems Engineer to join a thriving team that is involved in developing a number of new products that they are looking to bring onto the market.

Responsibilities include:

- Translating documents to Systems requirements that are testable and verifiable
- Ensuring that the risk file is complete with input from design and quality engineers
- New product development tasks

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree or Masters degree
- Minimum of 5 years engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years in the Medical Device industry
- Knowledge of plastics is highly preferred
- Systems requirement management
- Solid Design controls expertise and understanding
