I am currently seeking experienced Avionics Systems Engineers with full life cycle experience of Systems Integration to work with my client in Switzerland, some key information regarding the position is as follows:
The Client
My client is active in the fields of Aerospace and Defence and has a global presence. They are the centre of excellence for civil and military aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and for developing, manufacturing and integrating aviation systems and subsystems. My client also maintains the fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and reconnaissance UAVs belonging to the Swiss Armed Forces and is also a technology partner for other international air forces.
In civil aviation, they provide full life cycle support services to numerous operators and manufacturers of business jets, helicopters and small aircrafts. The division is also the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Dornier 228NG tuboprop aircraft, a modernized version of the Dornier 228-212.
Role & Responsibilities
*Concepts and design for integration of avionics systems in civil aircraft
*Generation of feasibility studies, specifications and all relevant engineering documentation and reports
*Preparation of work for electrical draftsman/designers and support during the execution of the detailed design, production and integration
*Interfacing with customers and providing inputs for offers
*Working within the EASA Part 21J Design Organisation procedures
Skills & Experience Required
*Appropriately qualified with an electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
*Experience of avionic/electrical integration (full life cycle within integration)
*In depth knowledge of avionics systems design. eg avionics, systems, integration and certification
