Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer required to be responsible for providing technical input into the new overall Systems Engineering solution through the post Critical Design Review phase of a programme. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in maintaining and working requirements, developing system level designs and seeing work through to verification and validation activities.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Developing system level understanding of system behaviour and being able to document using formal and/or informal notations.
Maintenance of the requirements specification including managing change using DOORS.
Traceability of requirements from system to subsystem level.
Understanding of UML/SysML and ideally knowledge of using IBM Rhapsody.
Documentation reviews from subcontractors.
Development of the sights interface with the Lethality subsystems.
Integration of hardware into platforms.
Development of testable and acceptable Verification & Validation criteria at system and subsystem level.
Development and documenting of system level integration and verification tests.
Experience of working with subcontractors and the associated commercial constraints.
Complete engineering actions and respond to technical inquiries from suppliers.
Co-ordination of all engineering correspondence to supplier.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting proceedure.
