Systems Engineer

Systems Engineers required with either an Electronics or Systems background to work across all Engineering disciplines.

The successful candidate will be involved in engineering planning and cost estimation, technical solution development for systems modifications, integration and test of the modifications and trials.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Ability to use innovation and traditional methods to develop technical solutions to both simple and more complex problems.
Experience of Electronic Systems Integration.
Experience of assessing systems architecture to define appropriate trades and technology insertion points.
Experience of Legacy platform modification design.
Development and maintenance of System level Requirements using DOORS.
Trade Study analysis against system component behaviour and specifications.
Integrating systems in accordance with IEC 61508 and/or Defstan 61-5.
Experience of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and System Readiness Level (SRL) assessment.
Engineering cost estimation.
Affordability Engineering.
Design for Manufacture.
Proposal development and the MoD acquisition life cycle.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting proceedure.
