Systems Engineer

Rocsearch are currently in the process of recruiting for a Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Wiltshire.
*System design to ensure the requirements of a customer specification and all relevant standards are met in accordance with the contract
*Agreement of all mechanical and electrical interfaces for system components and assemblies with the customer
*Production of documents to define equipment design for both internal and intercompany equipment
*Working with all other departments to ensure design requirements are achieved
*Liaison with the customer on all related Engineering issues
*Production of system requirement specifications, functional specifications, test specifications, calculations and design documentation
*Participation in inter-departmental design reviews, reviews with the customer and their end customer
*Production of necessary documents in accordance with contract deliverables, or liaison with other departments in order to obtain necessary documents
*Commissioning and testing of the system
*Production and presentation of training courses to the customer
*Investigations into problems experienced with the system during the commissioning phase and in service
*Interpretation of customer specification to understand all system requirements
*The production of technical descriptions, clause by clause comments, equipment schedules, schematics and calculations for the tender submission
*Participation at meetings with customers to agree scope of supply and interfaces

Rate - £Negotiable
Duration - 3-6 months
Location - Wiltshire
