Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer required for a leading provider of cutting edge Vehicle Health and Fleet Management services to the aviation industry.

Seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support the development of a range of innovative IVHM equipment, fleet management technologies and software services, (SaaS), for airline and business jet operators internationally.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

ESSENTIAL:

- At least a Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, avionics, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering or computer science, or similar level of knowledge and experience
- Systems Requirements capture and generation
- DOORS - authoring and managing systems requirements
- Aerospace systems design, development, verification and test - full life cycle - at least 3 years
- Experience with software/hardware requirements and/or design
- Previous experience working to safety critical standards
- Communication protocols, ARINC Protocols (624, 664, 825, 429, 653)
- Familiarity with SysML and UML
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems

DESIRABLE:

- Previous experience working on vehicle health monitoring systems
- Safety critical standards - DO178B, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754A or similar
- Configuration control/management
- Demonstrated ability to work with Customers using knowledge of the aerospace industry
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
