Projektbeschreibung
Systems Engineer required to be responsible for the management, maintenance and administration of the Servers, operating systems and directory services. The successful Systems Engineer will be based in Valencia, Spain on an initial 6 month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
. To be responsible for managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools, as well as assisting with the solution of the problems related to data centres as a part of the incident management process.
. Working as part of the release management process being responsible for design, final testing and deployment of server hardware, operating systems, directory service and messaging solutions as well as all related technical documentation.
. Analysis of the technical needs of the customer, end-users and all stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions.
. Be able to analyse overall requirements and develop a comprehensive plan that meets overall goals and objectives as a part of service level management process.
Experience and Qualifications:
. 3 to 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining enterprise Data Centres
. Excellent technical knowledge of Windows, VMware and Linux Operating Systems (MS Windows 2003/2008, Vsphere, SLES and RHEL).
. Excellent technical knowledge of Virtualization technology, MS Active Directory Services and MS Exchange solution.
. Good technical knowledge of HP hardware (BL/DL) and SAN EMC/HP technology.
. General understanding of Local and Wide Area Network concepts.
. Experience with DRBC solutions like VMware SRM.
. Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skills.
. Good communication and presentation skills.
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
