Systems Engineer

Overview
This position is responsible for Strategy and Design of Identity and Access Management functions, globally. This includes oversight of key solution engineering activities to sustain and improve Identity and Access Management services within the company, and defining requirements and needs for future Identity and Access Management services and solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

- Facilitate collaboration across the organization to direct and better utilize infrastructure tools. Plan, develop and manage the infrastructure to enable strategic and effective use of tools.
- Lead the evaluation/evolution of tools/technologies/programs with input from internal team, external developers, partners and customers.
- Establishing IDM Strategy and objectives and advocate solution and direction to stake holders.
- Document current solution and develop roadmaps to migrate to strategy solutions.
- Proactively identifying issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with other technology leaders, business partners, and stakeholders to understand and identify business demand, priorities, issues, and strategies to help establish and define the right structure to meet the needs short-term and long-term.
- Develop business case and assess financial impacts of proposed solutions.
- Directing resources to diagnose and resolve complex system, application software, security and other related problems that impact system and function availability
- Delivering complex technical solutions with limited supervision

Education

- Bachelor's Degree

Experience

- A broad and diverse technology background is a must.
- An understanding of the interdependencies between business and technical environments for identity provisioning, identity infrastructure, and authentication services
- Experience with the following products:

o Sun IDM
o Novell IDM
o Oracle IDM
o Active Directory (2003, 2008, 2008R2)
o Lotus Notes
o PeopleSoft (HR and Finance)
o RACF
o Aveksa, SailPoint
o SiteMinder
o Ping Federate
o ADFS - Deep knowledge of project planning and management activities
- Significant experience in several IT management disciplines (project, change, management)
- Approximately 5-10 years in a key Identity and Access Management lead and/or strategic, global role
- Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience influencing without authority and gaining consensus in globally diverse environments
- Self-managed while staying highly productive
- Responsible for large project and/or program implementations.
- Can work independently or manage a implementation team
- Providing detailed status and risk indicators to senior management
- Customer focused and able to take ownership to drive for results.
