Systems Development Engineer

Our Client is a household name in their own Niche Aviation technology. Based in South England they are looking for a number of Development engineers to operate within Avionics, fuel systems, breaking systems, actuation, weapons release/carriage amongst others. The company in question really are at the cutting edge of what they do and know exactly the type of people that they are looking for this long-term project.

Please note we are only able to consider people that have been working in the UK for five years or more, preferably having existing or previously gained baseline security clearance (BPSS).

Having experience in Avionics, fuel systems or any of the above engineering aviation-based projects, the right candidates will have extensive experience in requirements management, analyses and amendment/alteration. This is a basic requirement so please consider it essential to be able to 'hit the ground running' when using and programming test looms through DOORS management systems or CRADLE/equivalent software packages.

Having experience within a development role, the successful applicant will be able to lead a team of test engineers, verification and validation (V&V) engineers, in highlighting and subsequently, after coordinating with the design team, rectifying any anomalies throughout the products life cycle. Applicants must be aware that this role has an electro-mechanical bias. We are not really looking for software programmers/developers.

Being aware of Environmental considerations within such systems/component's development is also very beneficial. Having worked on similar air-based projects or rugged enclosure systems will prove beneficial.
