Systems Design Release Engineer - Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SYSTEM DESIGN RELEASE ENGINEER to join our client in Quantico, Virginia.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Demonstrated advanced subject matter knowledge within his/her technology specialization, verifies process controls are consistently followed and is regarded as a subject matter expert on system release requirements.
- Contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
- Works complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
- Demonstrated superior knowledge and extensive experience of operational CoSC services enabling effective development and evaluation of reports on system release services.
- SME in providing designs and documenting technical process and procedures.
- Frequently represents the activity and shall participate in offsite meetings in the local Quantico, VA area, conference calls, video teleconferences and web conferences.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10 years of experience in IT field
- Professional series Certification within the section's technology scope (MCSE, MCITP, VCAP4-DCA/DCD, NCDA
- DoD 8570 certification for Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering (IASAE II) (CISSP)

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Professional level certification within two separate technology scopes related to supported systems assigned to the billet (MCSE, MCITP, VCDX4-DV, NCIE, EMCIE)
