Systems/Business Analyst

We are working with an organisation to source 15 System Analysts for a contract until December 2014 plus several extensions.

Working on some major programs of work, your previous experience in Business/Systems Analysis will be well regarded. The work will be high profile and complex.

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO):

- Consult and liaise with stakeholders to confirm business requirements and the designproject content, scope and delivery, and issues concerning the management and support of day to day operational tasks
- Conduct detailed analysis in support of business requirements and production problems and contribute to system design processes.
- Provide expert advice to clients on software solutions and professional services that achieve their business outcomes.
- Develop functional specifications, use cases and design documents for use by system developers.
- Write, update and maintain end user documentation and operational procedures.

SKILLS INCLUDE (BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO):

- Identify and convey (orally and in writing) the object of a business need to the appropriate stakeholder level - enterprise, program, operational and/or project levels.
- Elicit, structure and prioritise business requirements and express these requirements to stakeholders for acceptance/approval.
- Facilitate review sessions and workshops (including Joint Analysis and Design (JAD) sessions) with the business area and ICT stakeholders to ensure business requirements are prioritized and presented in an appropriate ICT format back to ICT areas for development.
