Systems Architect/Senior Systems Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To determine the most fitting architectural and technical solutions for business outcomes and applications, using already existing components or by recognising and evaluating the need for new components.
- Collect, analyse and document the current business IT system and functions.
- Review and evaluate in line with business plans, needs analysis and risk assessments.
- In line with the current systems documentation. Identify and develop solutions for consideration for future growth to execute the needs including but not limited to:
- Data storage solutions;
- Deployments/Upgrades to existing custom software;
- Upgrades to customer management system Imis;
- Upgrades to website (joomla);
- Upgrades to media site;
- Review and upgrades of payments gateway;
- Implementation solutions for credentialing system;
- Implementation solutions for of accreditation system).
- Any additional growth.
- Develop a system plan and an implementation to meet the agreed technical solutions following review and evaluation.
- Ensure that the plan developed meets the needs of the solutions identified, is cost effective in terms of monetary value, ongoing maintenance and life expectancy and that oftware, hardware and additional resources to execute the plan are identified in full.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience undertaking a similar project
- Experience in developing and implementing business processes and procedures
- Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation)
- Proficient in report preparation
- High level of analytical skills and problem solving skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.
- Solid experience in facilitation, negotiation and influencing key project stakeholders to derive business needs
