JOB TITLE: SYSTEMS ARCHITECT - 1

LOCATION: WHITEWATER, WI 53190

DURATION: 2 WEEKS

SCOPE OF WORK

- Provide a health check of the existing ZENworks environment, including - - Infrastructure design and implementation
- Configuration settings
- Evaluation of errors/warnings currently observed
- Recommendation for application of periodic updates/patches as necessary to remediate errors/warnings
- Provide knowledge transfer on ZENworks operation techniques, including those aresas described in the system health check, as well as around creation of application bundles and the distribution of those bundles in the ZENworks environment.
- Work with the customer team to define and establish an organized process for managing ZENworks updates and distribution of applications from development to production through an appropriate series of QA steps to ensure that the production ZENworks environment is always stable and delivers quality to the end user.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experience designing and implementing ZENworks Configuration Management and ZENworks Asset Management projects, including deployments in a Higher Education setting.
- Experience designing and implementing configuration baseline reporting and defect identification and tracking using ZENworks Reporting Server.
- Experience designing and implementing quality assurance testing and validation processes using ZENworks Configuration Management in enterprise environments (> 2,500 nodes managed).
- Experience providing formal classroom instruction and on-site customer training on ZENworks Configuration Manager, ZENworks Asset Manager and ZENworks Reporting Server.
- Experience at a senior technologist or engineering level designing and managing software deployment and software asset management systems in enterprise environments (> 2,500 nodes managed).

b.     Advanced Certified Novell Instructor

c.     Certified Linux Professional, SUSE Linux Enterprise

d.     Certified Software Manager
