Our hugely popular client is looking for a Support Analyst/Tools Developer for our operations team. The position is responsible for developing concepts into code and building new applications and supporting existing applications for incident, problem and change management that runs on Visual Studio online. The position will also be responsible for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure to ensure service levels and quality are maintained for all tools supporting the operations center. This person will rotate on-call with another vendor for support of the tools when required. They will release code weekly. This position may be responsible for moving code from the existing code build systems into TFS and developing processes around code checkins and test.

This position requires the Developer to be on call for issues related around support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, and deploy software for internal operations teams that makes their lives easier on top of Visual Studio Online
- Construct systems that report on the status and history of live site services
- Administer and maintain the Servers hosting our services
- Architect software by working directly with customers (operations, pm, management) to determine their needs

REQUIREMENTS:

- ITIL Service Management process knowledge including incident, problem and change management
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with little to no forewarning
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding and well-versed in C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, and JavaScript
- Experience using MongoDB and Microsoft SQL as data stores
- Experience with RESTful SOAs, where clients may not necessarily be web browsers
- Acquainted with Handlebars.js, Backbone.js (or any other class-based library), d3.js, History.js, jQuery, and making maintainable single-page data-driven interfaces
- Working knowledge of a source control system (preferably git, TFS or VSO)
- Experience administering Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to architect maintainable solutions based on requirements from operations engineers
- Experience working with Team Foundation Server through its APIs
- Comfortable writing stand-alone modules for PowerShell 2.0+
- Demonstrated ability to react quickly, and perform exceptionally during critical/catastrophic events
- Ability to work independently and as well as in a team environment
