The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the identification of system requirements, documentation, testing and presentation of technology initiatives. S/He will participate in determining/defining project requirements, and develop thorough design and end user documentation.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Systems Analysis Functions - Lead, and participate in as necessary, the activities related to the identification of system requirements, documentation, testing and presentation of assigned business segments technology initiatives while adhering to established policies and procedures
- Project Coordination - Coordinate, prioritize, and participate in activities associated with completing assigned projects or project task(s).
- Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility.
- Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade vendor software; draw up specific proposals for modified or replacement programs.
- Partner with other technical staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or engineering, MIS, or related field or a Programming Certificate from a recognized institution required
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
- Minimum 2 years increasingly responsible system experience to include maintenance, problem identification and resolution, and testing on a multi-platform environment
- Minimum 3 years increasingly responsible programming experience using a standard coding language and/or platform required
- Minimum 1 year experience writing detailed unit and system test plans for small to medium sized projects preferred
- Minimum 1 year project coordination or experience with documentation of complex systems on a multi-platform environment preferred
- Certifications from vendor/supplier programs (eg, Cisco, Genesys, Microsoft, etc.) preferred

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

- Minimum 1 year experience working in a multi-platform environment, including direct experience with one or more of the following operating systems required: Windows, Solaris, UNIX/Linux
- Minimum 2 years experience with at least one of the following programming languages required: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, VXML, XML, HTTP, Visual Basic, .NET
- Minimum 2 years experience with communications protocols (eg TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP, SFTP, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), SNAX) preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience with database systems (eg, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix, Postgres) preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience with Computer to Telephony interfaces, voice platforms (eg, Holly Connects, Voice Genie, Genesys), Automatic Speech Recognition, Text to Speech preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience with Internet and telephony infrastructure components preferred
