Many of the changes being implemented rely on investment in new technology.
This post has an important role in specifying technology solutions to meet business requirements.
The post holder will analyse, document and propose solutions for large and/or complex business areas and prepare functional specifications which fit with the Council's technology infrastructure and strategic direction.
The post holder will assist in the preparation of user and system test plans.
In order to do this work, the post holder will need to be able to communicate with business users, analyse requirements and specify solutions. They will need to be a well organised individual who can deliver high quality within strict time constraints.
