Systems Administrator with Perl Scripting Skills Job

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a contract opportunity to join Yoh's Client in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- UNIX/Linux Scripting - Perl
- Telecom experience is helpful
- Migration experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assist with the upcoming migration of customers from one sector of the Company Provisioning system to the new hosting Provisioning Systems
- Perform maintenance window activities.
- Resolve fallout
- Management of migration issues and fall out
- Reporting Responsibilities

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MSO Industry knowledge
- High Speed data provisioning knowledge. Should not have to be explained what an RDU is, what a CMTS is, etc.
- Telephony (VOIP) knowledge. Should know about Switches (Cedapoint and BroadSoft would be a bonus) and understand Voice provisioning at a high level.
- Data Migration/Conversion experience
- Unix, Oracle Database Scripting
- Good SQL background. It is a MySQL or Oracle database system
- Must have strong Scripting skills preferably Perl.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Sigma SMP experience is not needed but would be a great thing to have
