SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR/WINDOWS/VMWARE

Our Client is an established organisation within Australia supporting a large User base from Western Sydney in smaller offices across the Country.

The opportunity exists for an experienced systems administrator with specific Windows and VMWare experience to support their infrastructure in an initial short term (8 weeks +/-) contract capacity with the possibility to extend if needed. We can't promise this though.

Your role will involve systems administration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting network issues, implementing solutions, documentation and some project work. A considerable backlog of pending issues and requests has built up to as the current focus is on project work as opposed to BAU.

To be considered for this role role you must be an extremely experienced and enthusiastic level 2 to level 3 administrator who shows sufficient drive and initiative to work autonomously with little need for hand holding.

Wintel Server 200/2003/2008 server implementation and Administration
 VMWare ESX and SAN Technology experience
 Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010 - Active Directory 2033/2008
 SQL Server operation maintenance, DR, Performance and tuning
 Thorough knowledge of security policies and procedures
 Excellent verbal and written skills
 MCSA/MCSE or other industry recognised qualifications
 Minimum 5+ years experience working in IT infrastructure

This role is available for an immediate start. The role is based near Windsor so you must live locally or have suitable transport.
