Systems Administrator - Unix/Linux/Windows Job

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a Contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Denver, Colorado.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Linux, Unix, and Windows operating system
- Knowledgeable of Service Provider/MSO system technologies
- CLI, UNIX shells (eg BASH, CSH, etc), Shell Scripting, various OS level daemon services including but not limited to SMTP, SNMP, NTP, DNS, crond, PAM, HTTPd, etc.

What You'll Be Doing:
- This individual will support multiple teams which includes development, engineering and lab teams and will provide technical support to enable continuing innovation within the solution infrastructure.
- This individual will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Demonstrated ability with managing data center scale environments.
- Deep knowledge of the Linux, Unix, Windows operating system.
- Knowledgeable of Service Provider/MSO system technologies.
- Extensive experience with CLI, UNIX shells (eg BASH, CSH, etc), Shell Scripting, various OS level daemon services including but not limited to SMTP, SNMP, NTP, DNS, crond, PAM, HTTPd, etc.
- Deep knowledge and demonstrated ability with infrastructure hardware including bare metal compute and storage components.
- Knowledgeable and demonstrated ability to design, operate and maintain storage and file sharing solutions.
- Understanding of distributed cloud and storage architectures (eg VMWare, Amazon Web Services, and OpenStack).
- Understand IPv4 and IPv6 networking.
- Understanding of system engineering practice.
- Understand Waterfall and Agile product life cycle development process.
- Demonstrated ability to work end-to-end at various levels of abstraction, solution definition, solution design, and operational deployment.
