Systems Administrator - Unix/Linux (S9)

Systems Administrator required for an initial 6 month contract with a large government agency based in Western Sydney. You will work closely with other members of the Enterprise Systems team and provide technical leadership in all aspects of server design, administration and support.

Skills and experience required:

- Extensive experience with Linux required - Red-Hat Enterprise preferred
- Experience with Sun Solaris required
- Experience with Unix/Linux system management tools (scripted provisioning, patching, performance monitoring, etc) - Red-Hat Satellite preferred
- Knowledge/experience with SAN systems - EMC preferred
- Knowledge/understanding of ITIL
- Experience in managing medium to large scale IT Projects
- Extensive knowledge of IT security issues in relation to enterprise Servers
- High level experience in medium to large data centre operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant degree or tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
