System Administrator, 3 months, Co Clare
One of our major IT clients is looking for the System Administrator to join their team in Co Clare for 3 months contract.
You will be responsible for day-to-day system administration work, fault diagnosis and resolution and changes to the customer infrastructure.
Responsibilities and skills required:
* Day to day administration of the SUN/Solaris environment
* Manage the environment proactively, identifying potential faults before they arise
* Manage faults reactively, diagnosing and resolving faults when they arise
* Manage fault calls assigned to the role
* Draft and implement agreed Change Requests
* Maintain software and hardware to supported levels, patching/upgrading as required
* Running Backups.
* Work log experience
* Environment to be examined and managed regularly
* Experience with patches
* Documentation
* BART Server.
