Systems Administrator Job

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WITH SOLARIS EXPERIENCE for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Overland Park, KS.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Looking for an System Admin with Solaris experience in setting up and configuring web sites preferred. NOT looking for app developer.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Create and develop advanced web-based applications using technologies such as Perl, PHP, ColdFusion, MySQL and other SQL databases.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have strong fundamental understanding of data structures and SQL optimization.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES WITH OUT ANY RESTRICTIONS DUE TO SECURITY REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Professional certification desired.
- Minimum three (3) years experience developing automation tools in Scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl and PHP, and ColdFusion development.

IN ADDITION TO ABOVE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF THREE (3) YEARS OR MORE IN:

- SOLARIS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (MUST)
- Node.js Development (preferred)
- Joyent SmartDataCenter (preferred)
- Ruby Development (familiar with)
- HTML/JavaScripts
